We enjoyed the Melheim Hotel very much. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We would have liked to have spent more time at this Hotel. Great views and ambience.

Hotel with a marvelous view.

Location is very nice. Breath taking view from the room. Room was large and clean. Bathroom also clean and tidy. They served mouth-watering food. There is a very big garden area with many birds. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. It's a unforgettable stay.

Mid-range hotel outside of Haputale

The hotel is a decidedly mid-range hotel (despite the price tag indicating otherwise). It's not a boutique hotel. The property is a bit tired. The housekeeping and restaurant service is mostly very good (and was the highlight of our stay), the reception less so. Another highlight was the walk to Lipton's Seat, the start of which was an hour by tuktuk from the hotel.

It was a fantastic stay in this little boutique hotel.Friendly management with customized service. Nice view from top of the mountain. very nice landscaping.
