「Multiple areas stated that the property had “a bunk bed, a double bed and a queen bed.”The double bed was PART of the bunk bed - so there was one whole bed less than anticipated which was a big deal for our group of 7. The “large futon” was also quite small. The place reeked of pot, the counters were sticky and there were remnants of food on the kitchen floor. The location was pretty - but it really requires four wheel drive to...

"What a blast from the past kind of resort! Very drive on motel in the woods! Akira, the manager, was so helpful and gave us insider advice on where to visit for seeing the redwoods, local eats. So knowledgeable about the history of the area it made the stay all that much better! This is the kind of place a solo traveler or families with small kids can enjoy! Staying a few days is a must!"
