Ocean Break-- Gather with friends and family in a truly magical oceanfront setting. This 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath home is newly decorated with luxury and comfort in mind. Just a short walk to the Shelter Cove airstrip, public golf course, restaurants, pizza parlor, coffee shop, beaches, tide pools and art galleries.

The kitchen is equipped with a Sub-Zero fridge, high end appliances and thoughtfully stocked with everything that you will need to make delicious, home cooked meals.

Every room in the house is designed to take full advantage of unobstructed Lost Coast views. Natural light, ocean breezes and vaulted wood beamed ceilings make the 3rd floor open concept living area a delight. Play a game of pool, relax on the couch, turn on the gas fireplace, enjoy a family meal at the large dining table, or serve cocktails on the oceanside deck.

The master bedroom suite features a steam shower, gas fireplace, king Tempuerpedic bed with high thread count linens and down comforter. Each queen room is furnished with plush, organic mattresses, down comforters and luxurious crisp, white linens.

After a day of beach combing, hiking or exploring tide pools, relax in the hot tub on the 2nd story deck, overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

Work remotely at Ocean Break's home office space, equipped with comfortable desk chair, Starlink internet, scanner/ printer and office supplies.

Another Memorable Trip

Serenity on the ocean

Everyone in our family loved Shelter Cove, and the house really brought it all together. Amazing location, with 180 degree ocean views that never get old. We hung out on the top floor almost the whole time, we really really enjoyed it. The town itself is so serene and relaxing, and has an awesome small town feel. Everyone waves, stops to chat, and seems genuinely happy to be there.

We had a wonderful stay...unparalleled ocean views and one of the most well stocked kitchens of any rental home we've stayed in. Just an FYI, no ice maker in the fridge on our visit but bagged ice was available at the local store.

Absolutely Amazing!

This was a great place right on the ocean! So comfortable and beautiful amenities. Kitchen was well equipped and very modern. The views from every window were amazing. The beds were very comfortable as well. The hot tub was ocean front and fit all six of us comfortably.There are three flights of stairs to get to the kitchen, we didn't have an issue with that, but renters should be aware of that.I would stay there again in a heartbeat! The hosts were incredibly helpful and prompt to respond, thank you!!

Had a terrific time with family at this house. Easy to walk to beach, tide pools, anywhere in town. Nice retreat. Tide pooling revealed alive abalone which is rare in todays world!

Shelter Cove Shangri-La

The stay at the oceanfront home in Shelter Cove exceeded all expectations. The house is perfect in its location next to the sea and in its window-filled layout. I was fortunate enough to get some delightfully pleasant spring weather mixed in with a powerful spring storm. It was two very different worlds, but the house excelled in both.Renting the house for a week was a splurge for my solo Spring Break excursion, but I feel it was worth every penny. Just wonderful all around. Thanks!

House is just as described in the listing. Beautiful views no matter where you look! Everything was comfortable, clean, and the host was super responsive when we had temporary issues with the Internet (quickly resolved). We would definitely stay here again on a return trip to Shelter Cove!

There were so many things to love about this house and we can’t wait to stay here again! *Host was an excellent communicator, helpful and always prompt with answering questions.*House was very clean & welcoming and looked just like the pictures (better in person, actually). I LOVED how the top floor had so many windows for natural light and views of both the mountains & the ocean. *Very spacious with comfortable furniture throughout. The various balconies/patios also offered excellent views both during the day and at night.*Loved the master bedroom & bathroom! So spacious with an awesome shower that had two separate shower heads. *Really appreciated the filtered water dispenser in the kitchen and the ability to open a window right by the stove. *I completely forgot to take pictures of things inside, but I would 100% recommend staying here.

The perfect relaxing getaway

This was our second time at this property, and it’s every bit as amazing as we’d remembered it. Such a beautiful, relaxing location. Easy access to tide pools, the airstrip, the beach, and everything else in town. The home itself is great — plenty of real estate for sleeping, beds are comfy, and kitchen is well-equipped. Pool table and hot tub were nice touches, and the steam shower was a pleasant surprise. Can’t wait to return!

Thrilling oceanfront home

My parents and partner loved staying in this well-appointed home. The bedrooms are all a great size, especially the primary bedroom, which has an enormous en suite bath, including steam shower! We loved the hot tub with ocean view and the cozy living area that can accommodate 10-12 people for dinners. We got non-stop views of crashing waves with up to 60 foot splashes, so much fun. The home does have lots of stairs and the living area is in the third floor, so something to consider for elderly guests.

Amazing!

My husband and I stayed at the property Nov 2024. The home and location are even better than could be portrayed in a listing. We have 10-15 year told kids and they would have loved it as well. The views from every side of the home are great, the hot tub was clean and ready to be used, and the home was just so comfortable! We would recommend 100% and can’t wait to go back one day!
