「We LOVED this place! It was the perfect little getaway -- and the water view was amazing! The place was very clean and our host was in excellent communication with us. It was cozy, but we really appreciated being able to wake up every morning and drink coffee on the dock next to the water. 「If you want to be in a perfect location to town and beautiful water views John Bruff is your destination. Host is very quick to respond to all requests and this home is a fun step back in time . Property is appointed with circa 1800 furnishings. Each bedroom has toilet and sink . Full bath on main level. You will need to be able to climb stairs to access bedrooms. A great stay. 」

「The home was spacious and clean. We appreciated the comfortable beds and linens.The kitchen is well stocked and functions well.Simply and nicely decorated.We looked forward to kayaking and enjoyed that, but,it is quite mushy getting down and into the water. We went to all the recommended locations and enjoyed them all. It is a quiet location, free of traffic and crowds. After our stay at the blue heron we finished the day at st Michael’s just 48 minutes from the blue heron…… it’s a lovely...
