「I loved the Turf hotel. We were late arriving but the young lady stayed on site until we arrived. That alone is worthy of a good review. The room was fine, a little run down but certainly not a problem. The bedding was fantastic, plenty of pillows and a lovely warm duvet. We were only there briefly, we left straight after breakfast (which was really nice). Everybody we spoke to was super happy & helpful. I think we'll be back in the area soon and the Turf will be my first phone call for...

「Solo trip with the dog. Very friendly easy check in and cute accommodation in an old stable yard. When I was shown the room the main light didn't work but I said it didn't matter as the bedside and bathroom lights were fine. Very convenient with the dog to nip out for a quick pee rather than walking through a hotel. Car park small but parked ok and felt safe. I left early for and no one was around yo check out so ended up leaving door unlocked and key inside. Good value for money.」

「Generally very good stay. Landlady made me feel at home and lent me a parking disc which gave me free parking until 10.00am the next morning. Very nice cooked breakfast with cereal and proper coffee. Only small issue was that the curtains let in more street lamp light than I'm used to. Blackout curtains would have been ideal.」
