「Gisele’s apartment was exactly as described in the listing. It was spotlessly clean and had everything you need for a home to home holiday apartment. You can walk into Monte Carlo but be prepared for steps down. We got taxis back (45 euros)) but discovered a lift next to the train station which takes you up and out of town where you can get an uber for 10 euros. 「The apartment is located in a secure building near one of the main streets in Nice and around a 5 minute walk from the train station - excellent location if you’re planning on travelling up and down the coast by train. The building itself leaves a lot to be desired, the stairway smelt strongly of urine every morning even though cleaning was visible.
