The Residence

"The views from our appt were amazing with stunning sunsets. However it was advertised with a pool on expedia. When we got there the pool was had not been operational in some time. Expedia needs to update the wedsite. Otherwise the appartment was nice, clean and had a little kitchenette. Our friends we travelled with were on the same floor. All appartments were great. Only issue was the shower in our room. The water pressure was not the greatest, however would not deter us from staying here again. There is a grocery store and a great pizza place across a very busy road with easy access through a walkway under the street. The promenade(just a short walk from the hotel) had easy access to the Sea and other restaurants and bars. The beach chairs belong to the hotel next to the Residence for hotel guests only. It would have cost us 35 Euro to use them.. We walked a short distance south of the hotel where chairs were 10 euro just in front of the restaurant, The Olive Garden. The waiters served us beverages so we didn't have to get up! What an amazing day we spent at the beach."

"Where do I begin? Villa GG created the most perfect European vacation possible. We are a group of 13 active seniors with extensive travel experience. We have never been so decadently spoiled. Every wish was granted with unsurpassed hospitality - the experience was really quite remarkable. The Villa itself is beautiful, beautifully designed and furnished. Every kitchen has an abundance of glassware, flatware, plates…everything! Beds are comfortable, baths are new and tastefully appointed, the view from the top terrace is breathtaking. All of this is fantastic, but it is GG himself and his remarkable staff that set it waaay above any other property. Daily breakfast with all you could desire is included, hot, fresh and delicious. Do not hesitate to book your other meals and activities through GG! Our tours, transportation, everything arranged by the Villa were perfect. Do NOT miss out on the Chef’s Special Dinner or the Pizza Pool Party. We indulged in both (plus an added dinner because it’s fantastic and a great value), and we had a blast. I’ve written dozens of reviews on VRBO over the last 30 years and this was the most difficult, because I cannot put into words how special this experience was. GG, my host and now treasured friend, thank you for the vacation of a lifetime!"
