「We wanted a cozy place to stay close enough to a beach to see the ocean that was not too full of people. The fishing was not great but that was just bad timing with the weather and season. Host was accommodating to early check in and night fishing. When we come back to Texas we will certainly look for this place again. We are in a grungy campground outside of Dallas on our way home and already wishing we had spent an extra day at fisherman’s isle!」

「The title says it all, we went to sargent to have fun, do some fishing and just relax. From start to finish everything went smoothly. We had no doubt as the owners kept in contact with us as needed and were prompt to answer any questions we had. We had a wonderful stay, thanks for loaning us the crab traps as we caught plenty for bait and to eat. Make sure to bring your fishing gear, the fishing is excellent. Thank for everything.」

「The house was clean and tidy. They had all of the little things that you might forget like laundry detergent, hand soap, dish soap, sponges, toilet paper, etc. The house was small, but well thought out. We really enjoyed our stay.」

「The only issue was that the water from the tank on the toilet seemed to constantly flow from the tank to the bowl. I was able to fix that by just turning off the water. The wifi for the roku did not seem to work as well, but I still believe that is was an excellent stay.」

「I really enjoyed my stay here. It was cozy and comfortable…it was just as advertised. The Host was responsive and very accommodating. I arrived late and couldn’t really see the numbers of the cottage, however he answered my call immediately and guided me to my booked cabin. I will definitely be rebooking.」

「The people were very friendly around the site. Check in process easy. The house is a tiny house so the beds were upstairs the air conditioning does not cool off upstairs area fans were provided but they did not work. I called the number listed to contact the owner but there was no answer. My husband and I had to build a pallet to sleep downstairs where there was some type of air. The floor was filthy and there was dog hair everywhere. The bbq pits in the pergola area are all locked, the games...

「The cabin is super cute with everything you need for a weekend stay. Very clean and quiet. The San Benard River, Dollar General, and gas station are all conveniently located within walking distance. It's an easy 20min drive to the beach. Communication was easy and everyone was very kind. Highly recommend.」

「Cabin was clean and hospitable however there was not any toilet paper so we had to buy some and the shower had very little water pressure so my husband removed the shower head and cleaned the filter which made it much better. The pool on the property wasn’t very clean so we did not use it. The owner was out of town during the time we were there.」
