"Room was not very inviting. Wires hanging from TV some pink stuff hanging from air conditioning unit. Thermostat did not appear to be working. It was quite cool in the morning. Gentlemen behind the check in desk was not very welcoming did not even look up when we were waiting to book in. We had two rooms and he had taken credit card info for both rooms and then the billing for both rooms was on one credit card. Not sure why he would take info for two different credit cards. Price for the room was definitely too much. After saying all this the restaurant staff and food was very good. I would come to the restaurant but would not book a room here again. The restaurant had ambiance and that is what attracted me to this hotel when going thru Expedia. Rooms definitely did not live up to my expectations."

"This is a boutique hotel in an older building. There is a certain charm with the architecture and the high ceilings; however, with an older building there is poor sound-proofing (we heard every step the upstairs guests made). Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The room needed a deep clean as there were dust-bunnies under the chairs and in the corners. The hard surface floors are great but were not very clean when we arrived. There was grit and fingernail clippings that did not belong to us. We walked around in our socks to keep the room clean but that also revealed how dirty the floors were. The location is great; right beside Jelly Bean row and within walking distance of downtown. The parking was as advertised but there are only 7 or 8 spaces on the street for non-residents, happily we always found a place to park each day. The check-in process was non-contact. We were given lots of information prior to check-in and an info pack on arrival. There was a guest directory provided with some information on local attractions and restaurant suggestions."
