「We were pleasantly surprised with the quiet, laid back beach town Luz. Praia de luz was a very short walk away from the apartment and ended up becoming one of our favourite beaches in the Algarve. The apartment was comfortable, clean, and well equipped for our stay. An excellent option close to Lagos but outside the tourist area. 」

「Quelques petits soucis concernant les sanitaires mais le propriétaire très sympathique est venu vérifier. Avantages : parle français, appartement dans un coin calme pas très loin de la mer, proche des restos, commerces. Les Portuguais vraiment très sympas, dommage que très peu parlent le français mais on arrive à se faire comprendre. Très bon séjour en général」

「Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und wurde sogar in den 5 Tagen komplett gereinigt und neue Handtücher gebracht. Es war alles vorhanden was man brauchte. Strand und Ort zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Rezeption sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. 」

「Honestly when I read the reviews about this place after my husband booked, I was very sceptical. People said it was dirty, had cockroaches, no hot water. None of this was true. About the hot water, you must realize that water heaters in Europe are half the size of North American ones. We had plenty of hot water. The only thing we didn't like are the beds are a little hard but it was the same at the previous place we stayed. We made do. Also tile floors are always cold which I'm not fond of but...

「Property was a brilliant size for 2 of us. The building was a bit run down and pool hadnt been cleaned for a while, the key to the door was temperamental and took some getting used. Although despite all these things i would definately stay here again apartment had everything you could need and was close to aome nice places. Was only about 10-15 mins walk to the strip when you found the fastest way. Host was very good with check in details as we arrived at the aparment for check in quite late」

「Die Wohnung ist sehr modern eingerichtet und es ist alles vorhanden, sogar zum kochen ist alles vorhanden. Wenn man möchte, da genügend Restaurants fußläufig erreichbar sind. Eben so die Innenstadt von Lagos ist in 10min zu Fuß zu erreichen. Der nahe gelegene Strand ist sehr schön und auch der Pool ist toll, wobei man dort für die Liegestühle bezahlen muss, da der Pool von einem Café betrieben wird und man diesen mit nutzen darf.」

「This apartment was perfect for my wife and I. It was exactly as advertised. Location was ideal for walking to the Old Town, the Marina, the Beach and Pingo Doce. The south facing patio overlooking the green space was a highlight. My wife enjoyed the bathtub and the shower was great. Karel and Estela were very accommodating hosts. Hope to return.」
