Fantastic and very spacious apartment with a large independent room, a large living room with an integrated kitchen. Bright and quiet at the same time, the room has a balcony overlooking a quiet and traditional pedestrian street in Gracia, and at the other end of the apartment, it offers large and bright windows that overlook the interior patio. The room has more than 25 square meters, with a large double bed (1.60 x 1.90 cm) with a comfortable new quality mattress, a sofa bed for one person (with an additional mattress for greater comfort), an area office with a desk, large built-in wardrobes, and a small independent annex space where you will find some of the supplies and belongings that you may need. The room has plenty of natural light thanks to its outdoor balcony. It has an electric blind for a break without any type of light. The large built-in wardrobes and drawers offer space to store anything. I use quality sheets and pillows. You can find additional pillows and blankets in case you need them. In addition, it has a 32" LG TV with an Amazon Fire TV stick so you can watch all the digital television available. The living-dining room offers a large 3-seater sofa with a chaise longue that you can also convert into a rest area. It has a 50" 4K HDR Samsung smart TV, with all the TV and streaming music applications available (Netflix, Amazon TV, HBO, Spotify, Disney+...). It also has a Sony music system. The dining area, in the same space as the living room, and integrated with the kitchen, offers a large table for up to 8 people where you can have lunch or dinner with family or friends. The apartment offers extra chairs in case you need them. The kitchen is open and integrated into the living room. You can eat at the dining table, or at the flying bar that the kitchen offers with its raised stools. The kitchen is designer furnished with matte dark gray kitchen furniture and a material with a silky touch and no fingerprints. It is fully equipped with appliances from premium brands such as Siemens, AEG, etc. AEG oven, AEG induction hob, AEG dishwasher, Siemens microwave, Samsung 2.00m high fridge-freezer, Nespresso coffee machine, Russell Hobs toaster, etc. It has everything you need to live like at home: plates, cutlery, glasses, wine and cava glasses, kitchen utensils, pots,... You will also find some basics such as Nespresso coffee capsules, salt, pepper, spices, etc. The apartment offers a very cozy, high-level decoration, which will surely be perfect for your visit to Barcelona. The room has a large window that can be opened like a door, perfect for filling the room with natural light. It also has a comfortable double bed with lamps, a large closet and a desk where you can study or work during your stay. The bathroom is spacious, and separated from the toilet, for maximum privacy. The bathroom hides an Electrolux washer-dryer under its bathroom furniture. The bathroom is also fully equipped. The entire apartment will be at your disposal. The building has no elevator. The neighbors are quiet and very friendly. Apart from everything described, the apartment is ideal for working or studying. You will be staying in the lower part of Gràcia neighborhood, right next to the intersection between Paseo de Gràcia and Diagonal Avenue. Before the XIX century, Gràcia used to be an independent village, this is why you will see several houses with their own back gardens in this area. It is an area with many interesting small shops and a big selection of bars and restaurants. You can find may small independent restaurants with all kind of styles and food, independent designers shops, antiques and decoration shops, etc. Verdi street, is probably most well known street in this neighborhood and tends to get very busy on weekends! This is where you will find the Verdi Cinemas, one of the only original version cinemas in Barcelona. The street where the apartment is located is semi-pedestrian (so calm despite being in the middle of everything) and the neighbors are quiet and friendly, so your rest is guaranteed. Beside everything you can do in Gràcia, you will also be right next to Passeig de Gràcia, where you can find more luxury shops and restaurants, if that is what you are looking for! And in all the streets around Passeig de Gràcia you'll find the classic and modernista neighborhood of Eixample/Ensanche -the city centre-, full of shops of all kinds, from high-street to traditional independent, restaurants, services, offices, etc. You'll be in the middle of eveything! The apartment is right next to one of Barcelona´s main public transport hubs, but given the location you will be in, you can easily walk to most central places. DIAGONAL Metro station is only 5 minutes from the apartment and has to main lines going through: - The L5/ Blue line will take you to Sants train station, Sagrada Familia or even Camp Nou (COLLBLANC station) - If you hop on the L3/ Green line you can get to Plaça Catalunya, Les Rambles, Port of Barcelona or Plaça Espanya. At Diagonal station you will also find Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat (FGC), which is a train line that will mainly take you to several towns on the outskirts of Barcelona. Besides the metro, you will find many bus lines right next to the apartment (on Diagonal Avenue) that will take you to almost anywhere in the city! If you need to park you car, there are 5 carparks within less than 200 metres, 2 of them just 50 metres away, with hourly/daily/monthly rates. If you want to park free of charge, you'll need to leave the car outside the city centre. Ask me more details if you need. Taxi is another good option, as from the apartment you can reach everywhere in few minutes for few euros. You can also ride a bike, a fast and convenient option to go everywhere. Near the apartment there are several shops that rent bikes by hours or days. Ask me if you need more details.
