Everything was wonderful. The staff are extremely nice and accommodating, truly some of the kindest people I've met. The restaurant has yummy food and the views are great. The location was also a plus as it was convenient to take the ferries to different places along the river.

What a lovely hotel in such an incredible location! My balcony had a view over the Wat Arun, Grand Palace and Wat Pho, which is hard to beat. The room was perfectly clean and the staff were polite and attentive. Breakfast was fantastic, with different a la carte options available. And the bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept on. Would definitely return!

My friend and I loved every minute of being there since we parked our car and got picked up to the hotel by Tuk-Tuk. Checked in with very nice annd friendly staffs.Our room had a balcony with a Chaopraya river view! It was such a great experience. We got to see the sunset then enjoyed our dinner on the rooftop bar and restaurant. The view was spectacular. It was worth it.I would love to recommend it to everyone.

Bangkok stay

We looked for somewhere on the river to stay for our last two nights in Bangkok and we're so glad we chose Baan Wang Lang. Right on the riverbank, a stones throw from Wang Lang ferry pier so easy access and a market on the doorstep. Booked a river view room and wow - the views from the bedroom and balcony were awesome, with views up and down stream and across to the Grand Palace. The staff were so helpful and friendly, particularly Nan and also a young new member of staff (whose name we didn't get) who had only just started on the Monday as we arrived. Lots going on around the hotel too, bars/restaurants, the market and of course a 7-11. Facilities at the hotel were also very good with a rooftop bar, cafe and restaurant.

Great boutique hotel on the riverfront

This was my fourth stay in a riverfront room at this boutique hotel. It has fantastic panoramic views of Bangkok from its bars, restaurant and riverfront rooms. The boutique accommodation is modest, spotlessly clean and very nice, it has a friendly welcoming atmosphere that feels like home. The staff are lovely. The hotel restaurant has excellent Thai food. The location is an easy 5-minute walk to the ferry terminal. There is no motor vehicle access, the hotel is in a narrow laneway where their own tuk-tuks collect you. The hotel explain how to get there, it is not that difficult. It is a fun location in vibrant Chinatown style alleyways with their eclectic mix of market stalls and shops.

Again a nice stay in Baan Wanglang Riverside

Not our first time in this hotel. It is quite small, but very comfortable and situated right on the river in Bangkok and in the midst of a local market area. In fact, only one thing is not so good. This is a hotel for mainly foreigners. I wish the staff in the reception area would learn more English. It was really difficult to communicate with them, difficult to get answers to our questions. Breakfast is okay.

We had an excellent stay here. If you can get the scenic room with panoramic view then get it. It’s room 501 and will definitely be worth the extra cost if you can manage it. The hotel has three restaurants and is located on lively street. The staff are very friendly and professional. It’s important to note as well you can’t take a cab all the way to the front of the hotel. You have to get out down the street and carry your luggage about a five minute walk away. It’s not too far but we were not aware of that. They will give you a ride to the Main Street when you check out for free. The room had a view of the royal palace and Wat arun and full view of the river. You can’t get a better view. The ferry is a one minute walk away. Amazing experience and room service.
