"The property is beautiful surrounded by a lush forest which brings around wildlife (including some monkeys that can be a bit invasive). The tram at Bunga Raya was really a pleasure, with smiles and warm hospitality. We do have to warn of the sand flies, which left my husband with over 60 bites on his back even after applying repellent (I on the other hand was never bothered much, as with other guests it was a hit or miss). "A good basic hotel relatively near to the airport to rest our heads after a long flight. Fighting the battle of mould in the bathroom. "

"Staff stayed up to let me in at 1 am in the morning. Were very friendly and welcoming and helpful in arranging a grab Taxi to take me back to the airport. Room is basic but comfortable and clean."

"The place looks like it’s been refurbished and it’s terrific. Sea view room(11) is great, close to pool, restaurant and beach (though not very swim able due to rocks that we saw on low tide.) Pool is terrific. Service great a about a half hour grab ride into KK. Highly recommend for a laid back stay. We extended our original 2 day stay to 6. "

"The property has a beautiful setting with the sea and a primary forest as its backdrop. The hotel excursions are excellent with an added inspiration on marine and forest conservation. Coral garden snorkelling and forest trekking are highly recommended. The staff are all genuinely kind and attentive. A very good resort."
