"Resort did not even have a soap holder. Taxi from hotel to the pier was 20 baht per person. I had 2 ppl & there was another couple with us. The lady at the front desk charged 100 baht for the 4 of us because she said we had our own taxi. We should consider as sharing because we pay separate. She said unless we share with other people, then it’s 20 baht. My advise is if you go with other people, you check out separate so you don’t have to pay more for taxi. This is a scam & I will not come back to Diamond. "

"A friendly welcome, bright airy room, nice swimming pool and great location opposite the beach. Free bicycle loan if you wanted them too. The owners were helpful in arranging a taxi for us to BanPhe Pier after our stay too."

"Location: 20 odd minutes walk to the town centre but song thaews are easily accessible. Room: Good size for a family of 4 but the bathroom needs some touch ups. The safety box in our room was broken too. Cleanliness: The room was clean, however the reception area smells unpleasant. Breakfast: Basic - not much varieties. Staff: Some are reasonably friendly but some are not. This resort offers all the basics for a reasonably okay stay but nothing is above average. The best feature of this resort is the direct access to the beach and small snorkelling areas. It is surrounded by restaurants and bars. The fire show is also not too far away. "

"Resort is beautiful and is in the beautiful area . There are a lot of service issues including non-working equipments AC. TV, lights , etc. the shower constantly changes hot/cold. The AC would not cool at night. There are not many amenities like safety box . There are no padlocks and the regular locks are not strong enough to keep from break-ins. The quality and choice of food is not very good .The food choice specially the one with meat and seafood tastes old . The staff are all nice and friendly. The beaches are clean and nice . The housekeeping does a clean and good job . "
