Very nice aparthotel for the holiday week. Very close to Baltimore attractions by harbor and safe neighborhood. Unit and furnishings are dated, but very spacious and has all of the necessary items to make clean and comfortable. Stayed with two toddlers in laws and hubby.

Total Bait & Switch Scam

We booked the room on the 15th floor SPECIFICALLY because of the view inside of Camden Yards Oriole Park. The day before we left for Baltimore we were notified that room was no longer available and we were put on the 8th floor. We were assured the view was the same. That was a lie. The room had a lesser view of Oriole Park just from the side, see photos. The decor was substandard not like in the photos on the website. There were 4 panels from the blinds on the floor in the master bedroom. The blinds couldn’t be closed completely and several panels were taped together making it worse. Imagine having ballpark lights shining into your bedroom until 5:00 am while the park crew cleans up from the last ballgame. Daylight all night. When I laid on the bed, I almost rolled off because 3 mattress support bars were not attached to the bed frame. We reattached the panels on the horizontal blinds ourselves and crawled under the bed to fix the bed frame. The noise so close to the road along with the racket from the saloons below was ridiculously loud until almost 3:00 am most nights. Very limited amount of tableware, a rusty grill pan. All in all, this was nothing more than a total bait and switch rental. We asked for at least a days rental refund and were offered a 15% discount on our next rental with Pelican Residences through Hotels.com. Not an option because we will never rent Pelican Residences by Hotels.com again. We would NEVER recommend his place to anyone.

We visit the Maryland Capital Jazz Festival every year. This year we decide to forgo the hotel and stay at the Pelican apartments. Staying there was such a good choice. The apartment was clean, comfortable, convenient to access highway and many different dining options. The icing on the cake was the nice view we had of the Orioles Stadium. Upon arrival the cable was out due to the recent storms. However once I notified Pelican Reps they had the repair company out the very next morning. We will definitely stay there again next year.

My family and I were very impressed with the Zenith in Baltimore MD. I had read some negative comments on service but people must realize it is not a hotel you are given everything you need trash bags & a trash shoot on your floor to to throw out trash a washer and dryer in your apartment and all the cooking 🍳 supplies & beds linens you need. If I can say one ☝ thing that was cable tv there tv are smart tv and they only offer internet tv so you don’t get much live tv. There is a fix for that you can get a subscription for YouTube or Sling

Proximity to baseball stadium was outstanding! Having a nice bar with food in the building was convenient. Internet was fast. Front desk was both helpful and cordial. Mouldings in apartment were not finished. Floors need to be scrubbed. Bathtub drain was slow. Seems like it's time for a k-cup coffeemaker. Bed was spongy. Xfinity cable was disconnected. Remotes to the TV were missing (but there was quick service in getting them). Overall, it was a good experience because of the proximity to the baseball stadium. We attended two games. Parking was easy and free.

Great location however it is not clear who the contact person is after you arrive. There were three different numbers... two contact numbers on the welcome placemat in the unit and a number that was texted from before checking in. I used that as my primary contact number and reported that the TV was not working. It did not work all weekend and I did not get a call back.

Communication was Great. Parking was included and great. For a 100 Dollar cleaning fee, we expected It to be cleaner. Vents had a bunch of dust and there was popcorn on the floor In corners from a previous guest.

When we first arrived, it was a little crazy to get too because of all the traffic. The key didnt work to get in right away, had a bit of trouble. The apartment was gorgeous, spacious, neat, organized. Couldve been a little bit cleaner, floors looked like they hadnt been swept in a while, merly because there was hair all over the bathroom floor.

Great place, perfect location to Camden Yards and Inner Harbor. Enjoyed having the kitchen option. My only advice is if you plan to use the parking garage, make sure you have clearance for the garage (6'6") because I have a car top carrier that goes on my roof rack and I had to remove it to park.

Baltimore break

This is nice one-bedroom apartment on an upper floor. It’s not a hotel, and it’s pretty much self service. The check in was unusual but the concierge was very helpful. The one minor complaint was that the AC in unit was loud, although we did get used to it. It gave us a taste of what it’s like to live in downtown Baltimore.

Nice condo style stay

This is a condo not a hotel, so understand what to expect. More space and nicer place, no front desk or services. Very close to the Orioles stadium and the UMaryland Southern Management Center. Next to Hilton and Marriott. Close to inner harbour. Safe.

Good option for a long stay, bad for a short one

While the Haven is listed with hotels, it is actually a one bedroom apartment in a residential building that is being rented out. As such, there is no hotel staff. There is a concierge desk in the lobby that can provide some assistance if you have questions about the area. Additionally, there is a $100 cleaning fee added to the room rate that was listed in the small print which I missed when booking. This fee is not a big deal if you are staying in town for a while, but for just two nights makes the apartment cost more than nearby hotels. It is in a great location down town Baltimore close to the ball park and harbor. The apartment was clean and the 24 hour gym was adequate. The curtains could have been better at blocking the morning sunlight. If you are planing on staying for a week or so and want a kitchen and laundry facilities, this apartment is worth considering. If you are only in town for a few days you can probably get a better deal at one of the neighborhood hotels due to the $100 cleaning fee. If not for the cleaning fee for my short stay I would have given the Haven 4 stars instead of 3.
