"Positives: The room we had was stunning and was kept to a great standard. Very comfortable stay. Staff were very helpful and were willing to go above and beyond to help Good security Good communication between housekeeping Eco friendly and perfect place to stay if you want to be surrounded by nature Negatives: Check in process and checkout process are very lengthy. We had been waiting 45 minutes before our room was ready and we had arrived at check in time Resort is a bit far from main shops and food places etc so can feel a bit isolated. Cinema was unavailable for most of our stay so we were unable to utilise this, which felt a bit like we had wasted our money if we couldn’t take advantage of the amenities and whatever the resort had to offer. Not that many activities for adults to do, rather more to do for children."

"While the resort is amazing and the service excellent, the resort is very expensive. Adice: Book all your dinner restaurants before you get there. Otherwise, you will get there and find out no reservations available for your whole trip in the restaurants and then have to go to the buffet and pay at least $56 + drinks per person. The restaurants are also quite expensive. So, advise you to look for options outside the resort though a bit limited sometimes if you don't have a car."

"Our stay at the InterContinental Mauritius Resort was absolutely exceptional and one of the best family vacations we have ever had. From arrival to departure, the warmth and professionalism of the staff made us feel welcome and truly cared for. Special thanks to Khushi at check-in for the smooth welcome, and Arun for his warm greetings and help with luggage. Dining was a major highlight. As vegetarians, we were extremely impressed by the variety, freshness, and quality of food. In our opinion, this is probably the best 5-star resort in Mauritius for vegetarians. Huge thanks to chefs Surya, Suresh, and especially Jaywantee for the outstanding food and hospitality. Special mention to Swapnali at Veda for her wonderful service. A very special heartfelt thank you to Vimla at Senso Buffet for her exceptional service, kindness, and attentiveness every day—she truly made our stay memorable. Thanks also to Moupiya, Ajay, Issen, Naveen, Sajpal, Govinda, Hareesh, Dipesh, Reshma, and RamGopal for excellent buffet service. The spa with Purnima, Anjanee, and Danish was relaxing and excellent. Greg at beach towels was always helpful and friendly. Special thanks to Reshma, Joella, and Brenda from Kids Club for taking such great care of our children. Reshma went above and beyond to keep my son happy and engaged; really appreciate it. An amazing resort with outstanding people, food, and memories—we can’t wait to return!"

"We honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay at the Oberoi Beach Resort. From the start everything felt so special and effortless - we genuinely could not fault a thing. What made the experience unforgettable was the people. Every single member of staff was so warm, kind, and attentive, always going above and beyond. The resort itself is stunning beautiful, peaceful, and the perfect place to completely switch off. The daily activities were fabulous and added so much to the experience. Sculpture making and painting class were our favourites. We loved going to breakfast every morning, the menu is divine. What makes this place even more special to us is that we got engaged here. It could not have been a more perfect. Thank you Aditya for helping my partner to pull it off! Also thank you to Regini, Harsha, and Rachel - the sweetest housekeeping team ever. Breakfast was excellent with so many options available for all dietary requirements. The setting is superb with spectacular views over various pools towards the ocean - and the sunsets were amazing."
