"Pub "across the road" is misleading, as it was down the way a fair bit, and the road is extremely busy and fast. The "B&B" is misleading, as there was no breakfast, just tea and biscuits in the room. The tiniest room I've ever seen, but adequate for one thin person. The bathroom sink plumbing had no mixer. The shower water went cold suddenly, but did return to very warm after a short wait. The place was clean and surprisingly quiet. The "7 minute" walk to the airport is easily twice that, maybe three times."

"The room was very difficult to find. The floors of the hotel were like a maze. You had to go to the second floor to come back up the corridor to get to the first floor. We got lost and took us a while to find the room. The receptionist did say it was confusing to find, so they are aware of it, would be helpful if they had someone to take you to your room as its not straight forward. We were very excited to try out the restaurant, but the food was a little disappointing and didn’t live up to our expectations. The food at the club was much better. The hours for the swimming pool was very convenient. The games on the lawn were entertaining and the grounds of the hotel were very pleasant. We had the family room, which was very tight for a family with teenagers and the view was sooo disappointing as we only had shrubs to look at in such gorgeous grounds. The parking is charged on a daily basis we didn’t quite understand why they charged for the parking as the hotel was on private grounds and the land was not shared. In our experience, hotels tend to charge when they are in city centres not out in the country. I had missed this when booking and it would have definitely deterred me had i have seen it before booking. Staff were very approachable and helpful with a welcoming smile on their face all the time."

"From the moment we were checked in by a very friendly and smiley Haz we found everything spotlessly clean. We had room service which was very fast and efficient (we collected it from the bar to save the £5 charge). Food was good. Beds were comfortable. We had everything we need for an overnight stay. "

"Very basic room, clean and functional but right next to the A38 so traffic noise all night. Pillows were completely flat so not ideal. Really disappointed with the food offer. When I booked I was asked if I wanted a £40 food voucher for what I assumed was £20. This wasn’t the offer at all so not sure why you would buy a £40 food voucher if you weren’t benefiting from it! Food was ok standard but expensive for what it was. Room served a purpose as its only a 5 minute drive to the airport but wouldn’t stay again."
