Based on the listing, we expected a more modern and updated experience, so arriving to an outdated section made us feel like we had been pushed into the “older” part of the property without warning.
For families especially, transparency matters. If the hotel has significantly different room standards across sections, that should be clearly stated at the time of booking so guests know exactly what they are paying for."
