周辺情報

  • Home of Freeman Walker, outstanding citizen of early Georgia. Born in Virginia in 1780, he came to Richmond County in his youth and studied law. Freeman Walker, in 1826, deeded 70 acres of land to the United States Government to be used as an arsenal-the site now of the Junior College of Augusta. He reserved one acre as a family burial ground, known as the Walker Cemetery. He was the father of Maj. Gen. W. H. T. Walker, CSA. Admitted to the bar in 1802, he followed a life of public service; City Attorney for three years and Mayor of Augusta 1817-19, being the first to hold the city´s chief executive office under the name of Mayor, and Brigade Inspector of Gen. Valentine Walker´s brigade in 1813. He represented Richmond County in both branches of the State Legislature and represented Georgia in the U. S. Senate. His speech on the Missouri Compromise attracted nation-wide attention. He died in 1827 and is buried in the Walker Cemetery.

ANWA Weekend

Great location. Close to most everything. 10 min drive to The National. Perfect for a Masters trip for a guys group or two couples. Bedrooms have king beds which is a plus you don’t find in most places. Communication was great and owner responds quickly. Even called me personally for a small issue we had.

The actual condo was very cute, well decorated, and well stocked with dishes! It was easy to find and the property manager responded to questions quickly. The majority of the condo was clean but some hidden areas (behind curtains) need to be cleaned. The building itself is a little dated and there was a minor ant problem.

Augusta National Trip

This place is just as nice as the pictures show. Very clean and beautiful. Now we had a couple of hiccups with our stay but nothing that would stop me from renting this place again. Anna was very responsive and took care of the concern quickly. The location is just 2 miles away from the golf course which was the reason for our visit. I would stay here again if we come back to the area.

Lovely return

We enjoyed the location and the amenities were ideal. Clean and nicely appointed. The view of the woods off the back deck make for a very peaceful place to enjoy a drink of choice.

Anna has done an incredible job at renovating her unit, it is beautiful & clean! Anna was excellent at communicating both before & during our stay. She quickly dropped off a brand new coffee maker as we weren't used to the pod system. Thank you Anna for hosting us!

My husband and I were visiting family in the area. This Condo was spacious, very clean and Comfortable. The only negative would be the neighborhood. It’s slightly run down.

Beautifully decorated comfy condo

Family of 4. 2 adults, 2 teen boys in town for “Peach Jam” for a week. This condo was perfect for us and surpassed our expectations. Let me add, it was extremely comfortable. I felt like I was at home. The host spared no expense when she updated this place, also making sure it had all that was needed to make it a comfy place away from home. It was literally out of a magazine! Make sure you have a cup of coffee on the back patio (beautiful view) listening to the birds chirp, priceless. The host had great communication and made sure we had all info for entry to condo, wifi password as well as pool code. If ever in town again, we’ll definitely book. We loved it!!!

Great Stay

Our teen daughter was participating in a volleyball camp at Augusta Univ and we chose Anna’s property for our stay. The condo was very clean, well decorated and met our every need for our 4-day stay. Loved sitting on the veranda and enjoying the peaceful environment. About the only downside is we encountered the HOA’s spokesperson -Karen, I believe was her name, and she was all too willing to share her beliefs on short term rentals and their impact on HER neighborhood. Anna was very responsive and clarified expectations when we contacted her regarding the incident. Overall - a very nice property that exceeded our expectations! Thank you Anna!!

2 Couples traveling together. Liked that there's 2 bedrooms both with king size beds and ensuite. Nicely stocked pantry. Quiet neighborhood near restaurants.
