About this property

Cozy dome w/hot tub, fire pit & views

Summary:

Welcome to Serenity Base, a cozy mountain dome where quiet mornings, star‑filled nights, and soothing hot‑tub evenings blend comfort with breathtaking alpine scenery.

- Sleeps 2 | 1 bedroom | 1 bed | 1 bath

- Hot tub on deck – perfect for cool evenings

- Fire pit & backyard space for stargazing

- Mountain views from dome & deck

- Kitchen & bathroom essentials, WiFi, TV, heating & AC

- Free parking & private entrance

The Space:

Morning light filters through the dome as mist drifts across the mountains, and the night sky unfurls with stars that seem close enough to touch. The crisp spring air carries the scent of pine, inviting you to linger on the deck and breathe deeply. Inside, the heated mattress topper cradles you after a day of exploring, while the view from the windows keeps the landscape ever present.

Sleeping Arrangements

A king‑size bed sits beneath the dome’s skylight, offering a spacious, comfortable place to rest. The layout feels open yet intimate, allowing you to stretch out and enjoy the gentle glow of sunrise.

Bathroom & Comfort

A full indoor bathroom with a shower lets you refresh without stepping into the cool outdoors. Bathroom essentials are provided, and heating keeps the dome cozy on cooler evenings while air conditioning offers relief on milder days. WiFi and a TV are ready for streaming or video calls whenever you need to stay connected.

Kitchen & Dining

A compact kitchen space includes the basics you need to prepare simple meals and snacks. Brew coffee in the morning or heat a quick dinner after a hike, then settle back at the table to savor the mountain backdrop.

Outdoor Living

Step onto the private deck to take in sweeping mountain views that shift with the light. The hot tub, nestled on the deck, steams invitingly in the evening air—perfect for soaking under the stars after a day on the trails. A fire pit nearby creates a natural gathering spot for conversation or quiet contemplation. Free parking and a private entrance make arrivals and departures effortless.

Setting & Surroundings

Serenity Base is part of the 37‑acre Cooper Mountain private nature preserve. Wooded trails and open areas are right at your doorstep, and while you may glimpse other domes a short distance away, your deck, hot tub, and fire pit remain yours alone. Because the dome is not sealed like a traditional home, you might notice a few curious insects—crickets in spring and summer—and occasional leaves or pollen, especially during seasonal transitions. Regular cleaning keeps the space tidy, but the natural setting adds an authentic touch.

Exploring the Area

Within about 20 minutes you can reach hiking paths, fishing spots, hunting grounds, lake swimming, and white‑water rafting. After a day of adventure, returning to the warmth of the dome feels especially rewarding.

Perfect For

Guests who cherish quiet surroundings, springtime mountain air, and a glamping experience that blends comfort with the outdoors will find Serenity Base a grounding retreat.

Dome paradise!

My husband and i shared our honeymoon here together. It was perfect! The owner was so wonderful and the place is super special. We were looking for a relaxing place to stay in the mountains and couldn't have asked for a better time.Being able to lay in bed and view the stars was so great. We were lucky enough to see the meteor shower from the hot tub. Normally when we stay at a place the grill is gross and not usable...but here it was not the case and we got to grill an amazing meal using local food. When i searched for places in the area to stay this was one of the first that popped up and it was so unique that we had to go. Thanks for an amazing stay! We will be back and many of our friends are excited to check it out, too!

Perfect for relaxing and escaping the stresses of everyday life. Comfortable, clean, and very accommodating for our needs. Host Tony was excellent with quick responses to my questions. Even people who live on Coopers Mtn welcomed us as they drove by us as we walked. Out stay at Serenity Base met all our expectations!

We loved staying here. We wanted to experience the luxe dome. It exceeded all our expectations. The bed was so comfortable and being able to look out at the night sky and the dawn while still laying there was so restful. The company was so helpful. We had an issue with the hot tub. They had a maintenance man there the next day. We received correspondence from them concerning our stay giving recommendations and asking if any problems. We were very impressed with their professionalism. We had picked this area because we wanted to do a little leaf peeping and to ride the Potomac Eagle. We plan to definitely come back. Only considerations just know there is only a small refrigerator so maybe have a cooler if have a lot of food that needs to be cold.
