Moa Whare is arranged to make shared stays feel easy and unhurried. Two separate living rooms allow guests to spread out or come together depending on the moment. The main lounge opens directly to the deck, filling the space with natural light and opening the home out to the surrounding landscape. The second living room provides a quieter area for reading, resting, or slow mornings indoors.
At the centre of the home is a modern kitchen finished with dark cabinetry, clean lines, and integrated appliances. It looks across the dining area and out to the deck, keeping cooking and shared meals connected to the rest of the home. Large sliding doors link the kitchen and living spaces with the outdoor areas, creating a natural indoor to outdoor flow.
The main level includes a spacious master bedroom with a king bed and its own ensuite. Downstairs, the second bedroom features a queen bed and opens toward the garden outlook, offering privacy and a calm place to retreat at the end of the day. Both bathrooms are well finished with tiled surfaces, modern fixtures, walk-in showers, and generous vanities.
The deck is a key feature of Moa Whare. Framed by architectural detailing and greenery, it offers a private outdoor space to sit, read, dine, or simply watch the light shift across the hills. Guest Access:

Nearby wineries include Mudbrick and Cable Bay, both offering dining with elevated sea views, and The Heke, which provides a more casual option with a brewery, grill, and large outdoor garden area suitable for groups and families.
Getting Around:
The closest bus stops are located in Oneroa Village, servicing the main island routes. Regular buses run from Onetangi through Oneroa, stopping near major wineries including Mudbrick, Cable Bay, and The Heke, before continuing to the passenger ferry terminal.
Taxis, e-bikes, scooters, and rental cars are available on Waiheke, and having a car makes exploring the island simple. The property offers easy off-street parking.
Other Things to Note:
Minimum stays apply as follows: seven nights from mid-December to mid-January, three nights during the rest of January and all holiday weekends, and two nights at all other times.
The home is supplied by rainwater tanks. Guests are asked to be mindful of water use during their stay.
