Summary: Tucked within the grounds of Kennedy Point Vineyard, this guest house sits among native bush and century-old pohutukawa trees with sweeping sea views. Calm, comfortable, and quietly private, it’s a classic Waiheke escape, close to everything yet perfectly still.
The Space: Kennedy Point Guest House is relaxed and light-filled, with open spaces that make you feel instantly at home. The kitchen, dining, and lounge flow together, opening onto a wide deck with sea views framed by the vines and trees around you. There’s a wood-burning fire for cooler evenings, and the kitchen is fully equipped for easy island cooking, from morning coffee to shared dinners after a day exploring.
The house sleeps six guests across three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Two rooms have queen beds, while the third has two singles, perfect for families or friends. Each room feels calm and comfortable, designed for rest after long sunny days.
Outside, the deck catches the sea breeze and the evening light. You’re surrounded by native bush and vines, with the sound of tui and kererū in the trees. Whether you’re reading, cooking, or sharing a glass of wine from the vineyard next door, the feeling here is simple, easy, unhurried, and quietly beautiful.

The Neighborhood: The guest house sits on Waiheke’s southern coast, surrounded by vineyard hills and native forest. From here it’s a short drive to Oneroa Village, where you’ll find island cafés, galleries, and boutique shopping.

For lunch, stroll to Kennedy Point Vineyard, Waiheke’s only certified organic coastal vineyard, and enjoy a tasting or a platter overlooking the bay. If you’re exploring further, Three Seven Two on Onetangi Beach serves modern New Zealand dishes beside the sand, while The Courtyard in Oneroa offers handmade pasta and wine in a leafy garden bar.
For something different, visit The Heke Distillery & Brewery for local craft beer and whiskey, or try a round at the Waiheke Golf Club, a scenic nine-hole course with views over the island.
By evening, return to the stillness of Kennedy Point. The sea turns silver in the last light, and the vines fall quiet — just the sound of the water and the trees.
