You get what you pay for. For a simple overnight stay with no frills, clean and pleasant, it's all good. Shower/bathroom could be a bit better, but it's there and has what you need.

For a budget hotel, this was perfect – clean, comfortable, and in an excellent location within easy walking distance of downtown Auckland and the main transport hub. I didn’t expect the extras you get with pricier accommodation, but it had everything I needed. My only gripe was the TV, which had just three channels – not a big deal, but noticeable when you’re staying in at night.

Let’s start with the fact that housekeeping WALKED IN ON ME (didn’t knock or anything); the bathroom door is severely water damaged since the layout of the bathroom is so poor, the rooms have a faint smell of sewage/toilet water and rooms aren’t very clean. I guess if you want somewhere cheap to stay this is it- the one positive being that it’s in a good location.

Cheap and cheerful more or less. The room is tiny but ok for a short stay. The cleaner was lovely; reception so so. The hotel is in a great position and it’s easy to get around the cbd. Don’t get excited by the tv reception. Three channels so it’s like the old days
