The area gets a bit unsettled at night but fable is perfectly located with impeccable amenities (most comfortable bed and shower of our two week trip) and an incredibly attentive staff. We would stay again in a moment!

Nice central Auckland stay

Great central location. Nice design. Be warned however if your rooms are on the top floor (level 8) you need to walk up the final flight of stairs as lift stops at floor 7.

Superb stay. The Fable on Queen is a luxurious character property with a great location, superb service, clean and spacious rooms. It's one of my favourite stays in Auckland.

The hotel was absolutely fabulous but we did have a couple of minor issues. The first morning that the room was made up they didn't replenish the tea and coffee. Also with you eco plan, towel rails would be helpful but the bathroom was beautiful and towel rails would ruin the look so most people would throw the towel on the floor 🤷 we did have a problem with the shower overflowing (507). If you use the rainfall head the drain can't manage the flow. The restaurant was amazing (best lamb I've ever had,). The receptionist was eager and enthusiastic which always is a good thing. They also didn't account for 3 people in the room, 2 teacups, 2 coffee cups, 2 wine glasses. There were 3 towels though. We would absolutely return because it had a really charming, old fashioned, classy feel overall ❤️
