I love Kiesel Park in Auburn. It's a lovely place to have a picnic, walk your dog, or just snap some nature photos.
The Tuskegee Airmen is the popular name of a group of African-American military pilots (fighter and bomber) who fought in World War II. Officially, they formed the 332nd Fighter Group and the 477th Bombardment Group of the United States Army Air Forces. I'm not sure if they give tours of this place or not. Nothing was open the day I was here.
Great spot for leisure time, photos and relaxing.

Valet was clunky. Half the time requested car and they did not get it. The staff gatekeeping the rooftop restaurant were rude. Hotel guests were turned away when that is the only bar/restaurant on premises. Food sos-so. Lovely decor but will stay at Auburn Hotel next time.

After Foster won the election, $2,000 (per year) was allocated from the state general budget for such a school to be located in Macon County. It was officially founded on July 4th, 1881, with Booker T. Washington, then a 25-year-old teacher at Hampton Institute in Virginia, as its first principal, a position he maintained until his death in 1915. Tuskegee acquired university status in 1985. Today it offers undergraduate, masters, professional, and doctoral degrees to more than 3,000 students with a strong orientation toward the relationship between education and work force preparation in the sciences, professions and technical areas. It was the first black college to be designated as a Registered National Historic Landmark
