As much an art installation as a house, the Atlanta Art House is a hidden oasis filled with creativity, character, and unexpected discoveries. A 20-year passion project by local artist King Pig, the home features hand-painted walls, original artwork, and one-of-a-kind design details throughout.
The home comfortably sleeps 7 guests (8th on the couch) and includes 3.5 bedrooms across the main house and detached studio space. Highlights include a dreamy loft bedroom, a cozy “monk’s cell” with a twin bed, and a studio suite with its own bedroom, workspace, and full bathroom — ideal for remote work, creative projects, or added privacy for groups. (Please note: the studio suite bathroom does not have hot water.)
The commercial-style kitchen opens into the main living area and flows directly onto an enormous screened-in porch designed for long dinners, morning coffee, and late-night conversations.
The outside is its own vibe, with an expansive backyard that feels like a dreamy secret garden. Winding pathways lead to intimate gathering spaces, quiet corners for reflection, a rustic outdoor shower for those blazing Southern summer days, and cozy evenings around one of three outdoor fireplaces. The fenced backyard offers privacy, shade, and multiple outdoor lounge areas that make the property feel worlds away from the city.
