Reunion

The house was nicely updated with a modern look on the inside. The amenities fit our needs. Location was ideal from the AUC, and no problems overall with neighbors or locals in the area. On our last night there, we heard several gunshot sounds that alarmed our kids, which made us reconsider staying again. However, the house and host was great.

"You can't go home"... yet!

The house is as advertised and pictured... and then some. I was raised within walking distance of here 6 decades ago. The Historic high school I graduated from is two blocks away, the storied A U campus is virtually across the street. The area had crashed to rock bottom and is climbing back up, albeit slowly. The neighborhood reminds one of the lyrics of a couple of Lou Rawls songs. Right now it's a good place for those who know where they came from. I have no doubt that it is steadily getting better! Yeah... I'd stay here again, but I've been here before!

Nice House Bad Neighborhood

I really took a long time considering if I was going to leave a review of our stay and I ultimately decided that I'm obligated to the next guests to share my honest opinion of the property. The owners did a fantastic job renovating the house and giving it a beautiful and homey ambiance. The house was very clean and thoughtfully decorated. The neighborhood was too active for our family. We are a family with 3 small children and I did not feel comfortable in the house with our kids. There were gunshots, fights and naked crackheads that you could see out the window. We had locals stop us outside of the house to let us know the neighborhood wasn't safe for us. We had Uber drivers tell us that they turn their Uber off if someone requests a ride in this neighborhood at night. I know the owners put a lot of money into this house. As a business owner, I hate to leave this review. As a father, I have to leave this review. I hope, for the owners sake, the neighborhood catches up to their beautiful house.

Beautiful!

Beautiful house, and well decorated. Very clean! Exactly like the pictures, they were extremely helpful in the check in process and fast response too. Everything was nearby to the house, I really enjoyed it. Definitely recommend.

Beautiful house, close to attractions

Beautifully renovated and very spacious property close to tons of major attractions. Neighborhood was a little rough but we had no issues. Very responsive property manager. Super easy check-in and check-out.

Close to Attractions

This house is beautifully and thoughtfully decorated throughout! The house was very clean. The only thing we would suggest is dark curtains in the bedrooms due to the motion sensor lights going off in the night (which scared our 4 year!). Otherwise, we had a fabulous stay, were super close to all the attractions we wanted to see. Property managers were very helpful when needed!
