「We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was spotless and had all the facilities we could possibly ask for including a secure private garden section with decking area, perfect for the dogs. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options, all consisting of excellent locally sources ingredients expertly cooked. The property was conveniently located a short drive from Chatsworth House, Bakewell and a number of other tourist attractions. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again or to recommend to others.」

「There’s not a lot that can be said about Tumbleweed Cottage that hasn’t been said before - really is a rarity to find somewhere that ticks all the boxes from quality of bed and bedding to fabulously prepared fresh breakfast- not my first stay and certainly won’t be my last !! 「The room we stayed in at the back of the pub called The Old Barn was amazing. So clean, eco friendly and spacious. We did think the top floor overlooking the lounge area could be utilised better as there was just a massive dining table in there. The staff and dining in the pub was exceptional. 」

「Lovely B&B. Clean, spacious and quiet. Breakfast was really good. Close to Matlock by foot. However, it’s quite on a hill. So not so practical for people with mobility issues. 」

「Paul and Sophie were the consumate hosts. Attentive without being over bearing. The property is in first class order with everything you could need for a perfect quiet stay. The breakfast was amazing and freshly cooked to order every day. As we have family in the area, we have always struggled to find good accommodation but Lynedene ticked all the boxes!! We will most definitely be back. This will be our number one go to in the area. 」
