"Really friendly hosts, drinks and cake on arrival as well as facilities in the room. Lovely gardens. Breakfast was excellent. We left some stuff behind by mistake which is kindly being posted back to us. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again."

"We had a gorgeous stay at Bridge Cottage, such a welcome pitstop if you're walking the South Downs Way or visiting the local area. The rooms are exceptionally comfortable, Miranda is a wonderful host and the location is perfect to enjoy some of the local pubs. We'd highly recommend and will be back! "

"This was one of the best Inn's I've stayed at. The staff went above and beyond to be welcoming and friendly. The room was perfect, clean, bright and exactly as in the photos. The common areas were so inviting, there was outdoor garden spaces, indoor spaces with comfy seating for curling up with a book. The breakfast was amazing with many choices. I would highly recommend and I'm already try to plan another trip there."

"Everything was fine, the room quiet. well-ecorated, clean and warm and there were nice extras - orange juice and porridge oats and plenty of tea and coffee. However the en suite shower room was a tight fit for my husband who is 6'4" so we would check if there was a larger en suite another time."

"The room was OK, but finding the hotel and finding the room within the hotel were both very difficult. They also asked for an additional card checking fee before check-in, though thankfully they waived this when we queried it. The remote check in made the start of the stay very stressful, but once we were in it was fine. There are some lovely period features in the property, but some of the paneling is actually wallpaper!"

"Really great hotel. Nice biscuits on arrival but maybe tell guests that these have nuts in as we nearly had to do a trip to the ER due to severe nut allergy !
Can’t complain other than that though!"
"We stayed the night in a room with a double bed but I would definitely say the bed was larger than a double, the room was clean, quiet and the bed was very comfortable, we also had the added bonus of air conditioning, the room had tea and coffee facilities which was nice, the only thing I would say is the room would benefit from having a bottle of water for guests."
"Great location, fantastic staff, great food and Drinks 🍸.
The room was very clean and comfortable 👌
I would definitely recommend this hotel and I'm coming back to stay again when I get back to Brighton."
"Superb location on the seafront. Clean and comfortable with very pleasant helpful staff throughout.
Breakfast was delicious, always plentiful and beautifully presented.
My room was so comfortable with excellent touches you would expect of this standard of hotel, for example free large bottles of water in the room fridge, replenished as required and proper small bottles of milk in there too. Toiletries were of a superior standard.
Being a solo traveller, it was so welcome that the staff always spoke to you and made sure you had everything needed.
Stayed in many hotels all over the world but this was one of the best."
"Manager went out of his way to help me in tight parking spot as got extra long vehicle, was allowed to park earlier as needed to get to an event. Room was everything we needed, very pleasant staff, great location and a lovely 1st impression inside reception. Would definately stay again. Didnt have breakfast as i dont eat until lunch, but it smelt good 😁.
Easy check in/check out"
