"All staff were very, very good Stephania was very attentive and great fun. The place was very clean and well appointed with excellent breakfast and lunch. An excellent and perfect for a quiet break. It would be really great if an evening meal could be provided. Currently one has to go Squinzano and restaurants open after 8. "

"All the staff was very polite and helpdome. The rooms was clean. Swimmingpools should be cleaned every day and many of the sunbeds need to be repaired. It was very limited what to buy at the bar. Breakfast was a very simply italian stile, some fresh bread- ham and cheese could be fine. There was a very few restaurants in this village, at the hotel it was not possible to have dinner. Small distance to other cities. were it was possible."

"Beautiful agriturismo/masseria, nice big comfortable room. The restaurant is great, all the food sourced from the farm, from the wines to olive oil to wheat for the bread. The grounds are nice to walk around. The owners were really nice."

"Hotel was beautiful and the staff were gracious. The only recommendations would be to be more clear about the private beach. They do not have a reserved beach and a few days the beaches were booked. Also when we booked the room description had a plunge pool but it was a hot tub. "

"From the moment we booked, this hotel was fab. The manager resoonded straight away when our plane was delayed, and reassured us our room would be held for us and someone would be available to let us in however late it was. The room was spacious, light and clean. They cleaned our room every day, and left clean towels when needed. Plenty of space to park, for free. "So our stay was short due to cancelled flights but the boutique hotel is great. If you are from the US, you will find a hotel like this in the US. Very authentic Puglia architecture, in an old Plazzo; thus, the name. The staff bent over backwards for us bring up a very late night salad and Burrata when we got in at 1am in the morning,breakfast was outstanding. They drove us over to where our Duvine guides were picking us up. I wish we had a longer stay but highly recommend it."

"Amazing. Just outside historic district which was walkable within 10 minutes. We were welcomed like the most valued guests ever. The staff called to see if taxi could pick us up at the train station! Suites reslly. Outstanding breakfast where Fabbiana took great carevof us. Fresh cappucino, fruits, breads & eggs to order! Rooftop hot tub was lovely. Would HIGHLY recommend this hotel to anyone teaveling to Lecce. New hotel inside of an old facade "

Grand Hotel di Lecce

10/10 Excellent

" This is not a Grand hotel in the sense of the Danieli or Excelsior, however, that is probably because they choose not to have a restaurant, even though they put out a sumptuous breakfast and have a commercial kitchen and plenty of staff. Our room had filthy old green carpeting, but we noticed in the long hallway that some rooms have modern wood flooring, which is much more sanitary I don't know why we weren't given the upgrade since we are hotel gold members. The only other issue was the parking which we tried to reserve well in advance, but was unavailable, which was disappointing since we have a brand new Mercedes-Benz . The staff was very pleasant and the bathroom was spacious and had the best shower of our trip. Overall, it was good value for the money and it's probably one of the better hotels in Lecce."
