Can tell a lot of thought has gone into everything. The area is absolutely beautiful, not the main centre but we easily got taxis there and back the entire stay and it feels like a real slice of heaven sat looking out at the beautiful views. "Lovely inn away from busier city but still close to everything. Enjoyed sitting on the grounds having a beverage and enjoying the view, quiet. Nice bar area that serves lighter bar fare. Very popular restaurant where needed reservations. Breakfast was very good. Staff were all very nice and helpful. Room was freshly done with comfortable furnishings. Definitely recommend a stay here!"

Good pub meal in nearby Castlemaine recommended by our hostess (yummy chicken volu-u-vents) and fabulous Chinese takeaway recommended by me in Milltown 2km away."
