「A lovely location and unique building layout. Our room was great, the bed comfortable, and the rooms were very clean and spacious. The breakfast was very good with freat service. The only reasons that we didn't give it an excellent was the lack of a toilet seat (which they remedied by opening the second bathroom) and the cooking tools were very limited.」

We had some difficulty with the gate at arrival, as instructions on how to enter were not clear, and we were also unsure where to leave the remote control upon departure. Seizoen was ver ten einde waardoor de buitenruimtes vol stonden met opgestapelde zonnebedden waardoor een rommelige indruk ontstond. 「5 stars! The Elea Mare is a fabulous value in an authentic Greek coastal village, run by a host (Greg) who personifies customer care. We can’t praise him enough for the warmth of his interactions with us! As an example, our young-adult daughter became mildly sick during our stay, and Greg provided tea and offered to check up on her when we left her in the hotel by herself for half a day. The hotel is a short walk from a small beach and town harbor and near several excellent dining options....

Food is excellent (breakfast is a standout), making the on-site dining worth staying in for. Convenient location too: about 15 minutes from the center of Monemvasia, so you’re close to the action but in a quieter spot. Overall, great value for a relaxed, quality stay.」

From the amazing breakfast buffet to the evening cocktails everything was wonderful. The view is outstanding and the pool is amazing. The room was very comfortable and came with robes and slippers, making it feel like home away from home. Everything was above expectation, and we look forward to going back again.」
