"A cool place to utilize as a base camp for your outdoor adventures in the San Juan. A comfortable relaxed environment catering to the hikers, backpackers and travelers. I stayed in both a private room which as well appointed and comfortable and a shared bunk room on my last night of the trip. The shared bunk room was very comfortable and the shared bathroom was well stocked with towels and toiletries. I really liked the community feeling of the lobby. Met a ton of thru hikers and others who were in the area to enjoy nature."

"The only issue is that there is no AC. The room probably doesn't need AC but the room can get warm during the day. However, the town is quiet enough that you can just leave the patio door open and it will cool off. Other than that the room was great."

"It was as advertised. Front door entry was a little bit confusing at first. Didn’t realize the home was on second floor. The door made sense was we realized this. We enjoyed the stay and like the house."
