All I Wanted!

After the beginning of the year, all I wanted was to go somewhere and just be present and happy. I stayed in this amazing house. I could walk to my left and go to a more private beach or watch my right and go to a more public beach. The water was beautiful, the surrounding town is adorable. And the house was perfect.

Great Location!

Great place!

Covey Cottage is wonderful! It’s beautifully furnished, spacious, well appointed and very clean. We loved the location. We walked to the beach, the bay, shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful home great location

Clean lovely home near the beach with pool. Our family enjoyed staying here while visiting Anna Maria and would definitely stay again. Our only requests are for liquid hand soap and Kleenex in the bathrooms.

Wonderful AMI home

This place was wonderful. It was very close to many restaurants and shops. It was a quick drive or short walk to the beach. The house was spacious and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed the backyard and the pool was great!

Great location!!!

Property and quiet end of the island. Would love to stay here again! Brought our bikes and it was perfect for getting around. Even caught the free trolley to the grocery store. Lots of good restaurants around that we tried.

Great location

This is the second stay at Covy Cottage. We love the location and the amount of room we have in the house. They had a slim but useful welcome package. I realize not much can be done but the mosquitoes in the backyard are pretty intense after 5:00. We had a great time and would rent again.

Amazing Location cottage!

Lovely cottage! You could walk every where and such an easy stroll to the beach as well. Loved the yard with pool! The only thing is they need to spray for mosquitos. Sitting outside, we kept getting bitten. Also, the pool was heated but barely. There was no way we could turn it up because the heater dial was locked up. But all in all the property was fantastic!

Great stay in a cozy home!

Overall we loved our stay here! This was perfect for a short trip for my mom and myself. The house was super clean and all the amenities we needed to be stress free were included (beach towels/chairs, paper towels, toilet paper, soap, etc.). We loved the location and the historical charm of this older home. It has been nicely updated, but the owners still retained a lot of the amazing historical features. I especially loved the privacy of the attic room. We can't speak to the kitchen because we do not do cooking on vacation. There are a few small things that could make this stay truly amazing. We would have loved to have an extra hair dryer or a full length mirror. The backyard, with a little TLC and some landscaping could really be so incredible. We really enjoyed the pool and the privacy of it. I do wish that they informed us before the landscapers came, as we were 2 women in the pool and suddenly there were 3 men in the backyard with us with no warning, and unfortunately we were unable to communicate with them due to a language difference. That was unsettling for a moment and kind of inconvenient. A little warning would have been great so we could have planned around it. I also wish there was a way to bypass the door alarm if you are not traveling with children. Other than that, this was the perfect stay for us! Highly recommend!

Covey Cottage

We stayed here at the Covey Cottage February 3rd to the 7th. Beautiful home located within walking distance to beaches and restaurants. 3 bedroom, 3 1/2 bath home with heated pool. The home has everything you need for your stay. The property management group was outstanding, were in contact with us several times making sure our stay was comfortable. I highly recommend using Anna Maria Island Accommodations for your next rental.

Cute beach cottage! Very clean and good location. Management was exceptional with helpfulness and communication! Pool was wonderful. Quite a few mosquitos in the backyard but to be expected with all the vegetation. Had a wonderful time!

We loved everything about this property. A few blocks from the beach and very nice beach chairs were supplied. The pool is a perfect size with more than enough lounge chairs and seating. An original cottage has been updated with a bathroom, with shower, for each bedroom. The kitchen and dining area is big and clean. We will come back.

We had a good stay

This is a solid place for families. That’s said, there are a couple of things to give you a heads up on. First, the patio and pool area has no table for our-door eating. This was a miss for our large group. Secondly, the back yard is infested with mosquitoes. And while you’d think that would make us less interested in dining outside, they aren’t around during lunch time. But morning and evening time, beware. The place has NO household supplies. While this can be standard for rental homes in our experience on AMI, this was our first that didn’t provide a welcome package of sponge, dish washing soap, dishwasher pods, and trash bags. We had to buy everything, which was annoying since some things were sold out at the stores and took us days to procure. Not a good experience given the price point of this place. The floors upstairs were filthy, our feet were black from walking around up there after the first day. We used shoes after that. There is one bed (the queen in the downstairs bedroom) that was old and uncomfortable. And the bedding in every room was old; old pillows and old blankets. Again, for the price point it was disappointing. If we stay there again, I would ask about new bedding or ship my own ahead of time; it’s that bad. Overall, the location is good, the pool is great, the outdoor shower was clean and good, and the home is comfortable given the layout and our family needs with small children. I would stay there again.

Cute place

The house was nicely decorated and very clean. The only criticism I would say is maybe more beach towels. Prepare yourself to bring dishwasher detergent dish soap paper towels because the house comes with just the bare minimum as far as stuff like that. It would have been nice to have a couple extra blankets and some pillows. The backyard is amazing the pool was wonderful very close to all of the beaches and some cute shops and restaurants. We will be renting from them again.
