This was an incredible stay and easily one of the most memorable places Iโve ever experienced. The house is right next to Hahoe Village, and the owner was kind enough to pick me up from the village ticketing office, which made arrival very easy. I have multiple food allergies, and he was extremely thoughtful and careful, preparing breakfasts that I could safely eat without any issues. That level of care meant so much to me.
The house itself feels like stepping into a history book. Itโs very traditional, with beautiful paper walls and clear signs explaining the historical significance of the place, which made the stay even more special. Everything was spotless and very well maintained. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and the atmosphere was peaceful and authentic in a way thatโs hard to describe.
Thereโs also a cute cat that followed me around during my stay, which was such a sweet bonus. You can walk to the cliff in about 10 minutes, and thereโs even a small beach you can walk down to nearby. Waking up and being surrounded by nature and history at the same time was unforgettable.
If youโre looking for a truly traditional Korean experience with a warm, caring host and a stunning location, I canโt recommend this place enough.
