The room was definitely older but clean. I felt safe in the area and the front desk staff was very helpful. It's a 5 minute walk to the Eurostar so it great for an early morning departure.

Room definitely different from what was in the photos. Extremely small, no space to even put and open my luggage up. very noisy (noise from both inside and outside). Breakfast was good. Heater was working. Hot water took abit of time. Gave it 2 stars instead of 1 only because of these.

Location cannot be beat. Very convenient to walk or take a train to anywhere. Very cooperative staff especially with flexibility on storing your luggage after you check out. The only issue was Wi-Fi which I could barely catch a signal of in my room.

Location was great. Breakfast buffet was pretty good (7 out of 10). Staff were friendly and very helpful with directions. We requested a room on the bottom floor bc we are seniors. We didn’t know how extremely noisy it would be. There were bars and drunk loud people right next to our window until very late into the night. No way to get a good sleep.

Very sentral hotel in typical Amsterdam City style. Small area - steap stairs.....but that`s the same almost everywhere if you like to stay in the middle og the city. Clean rooms - very friendly and smiling staff - a very good breakfast. I really enjoyd my stay. I have been in Amsterdam 3 times before - this is the hotel which gave me the absolute best over all experins. Next time I stay at the same hotel.

Front desk staff are amazingly helpful with check-in, baggage, directions to where I wanted to go. Breakfast had a nice variety with hot food, fruits, breads, yogurt….. Really enjoyed staying here and eating and drinking at the attached restaurant and bar. The staff was very nice and though the rooms are old, they are comfortable and clean. Without even asking we had clean towels every day and the room was tidied.The location is fabulous-very close to train station and lots of restaurants, bars and shops. Great food in the restaurant, Prince Charming. We ate there twice, both times excellent with great service. Overall this is a good value for the cost.
