I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Aalders. The staff were friendly and helpful, the premises were cozy and comfortable, and the location is on a quiet, beautiful street just steps from a supermarket and several art museums. I would gladly stay here again!

One of our favorite locations in Amsterdam. Hotel Aalders is within walking distance to everything, and sits on a beautiful tree lined street! This third generation family run hotel is so fabulous, we enjoyed our stay (9 days, 3 rooms) immensely! The breakfast room is awesome and delicious, highly recommend. And finally, every member of staff was soooo friendly and helpful and helped make our stay memorable, thank you!

Hotel Aalders is a small boutique hotel (less than 50 rooms) located in a historic building in the Museum District. It is ideally located just a few minutes walk to the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, half an hour walk to Ann Frank House, and many other museums and attractions, restaurants and bars. The hotel is very well maintained and the services are excellent. The staff were all most friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Our stay at Aalders was one of the highlights of our three week trip to Europe. At the staff suggestion, we took the bus, half a block from the hotel, to Schiphol airport, a half hour ride for 7 Euros or so and with no transfers.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Aalders. The staff were friendly and the room was comfortable. Awesome shower! The bed was comfortable, but the decor in the bedroom was a bit dated - it felt very 1980's Marriott. The breakfast was uninspiring on our first look, so we did not eat at the hotel. The location is amazing - the hotel is on a lovely, picturesque street near all the museums. There was a bus about 4 minutes walk from the hotel that took us everywhere we needed to go, including to the airport at the end of the trip.

Stay is well maintained and has lots of character - very charming. Good location next to museums and still situated on a quiet street. Our room was beautiful and we were supposed to have A/C but we got an outward balcony room and thankfully the weather was perfect and we did not experience the intense heat wave at the time.
