"The first was room was very dusty and dirty, was moved to a different room and the new room was better but there was hair in the sheets in the new room and when using the air conditioner it had a very odd smell. Requested late checkout and that was not recorded from the prior person so we got multiple knocks on our door from housekeeping with them asking us to leave, then the front desk called also saying we were needing to checkout despite requesting late checkout. I will not be using this hotel ever again. However the lady who checked us in and checked us out was very nice and tried to be as helpful as possible."

"Staff was very friendly. The room I stayed in was very large. Most importantly, the bed was very comfortable. Never slept better at a hotel before. "

"Hotel is basic - kitchen, bed, bathroom - but no utensils or silverware at all. Only access to food and drink are vending machines and a coffee machine. No breakfast provided. Cabinetry and drawers etc are walmart quality - so bottom line this is like a hostel more than a hotel and you need to come armed with everything you need. There are no staff on site between about 9.00 pm - 7 am which could be an issue in an emergency. Not sure what happens if yiu arrive after 9 pm and need to check in. One other thing to note is that my room (and I suspect others) have no blackout curtains, only slatted blinds, which would be fine were it not for the 500 gigawatt halogen lamps in the parking lot which make the bedroom light even in the middle of the night. So if you literally just need a bed, bath and a room, this is OK - but if you intend to use the room for more than that, find somewhere more typical with carpeted floors and some amenities."

"This hotel was better than I expected. It was at a great rate in convenient area to expressway and restaurants. Rooms were clean. Walls were kinda thin but not too much. "

"I will not book again. The housekeeper didn’t knock or announce himself, he started opening the door but the latch was on. I opened the door as he walked off and asked was he not going to knock; he didn’t answer and went in another room. One of the trash cans was not emptied. The tub was unclean. The carpet is old with stains. There was dust on the furniture, around baseboards, on the wires and wall sockets, there was pieces of paper on the floor near the head of bed. It’s an old building but they could clean more. But it was quiet. Some people allowed their doors to slam early in the morning. I can deal with that but dirty and the housekeeper entering without knocking, no. It was a quick business trip for one day. "

"This hotel provided an excellent stay especially considering how affordable the rooms were. The rooms were spacious and clean, the staff were friendly, and the location was a quick 15-20 minute drive down the freeway to downtown Knoxville even in rush hour. Overall very pleased with this hotel."

"The building is older but in reasonably good repair. It very good for short stays considering the price. No prepared food but a kitchenette is available for meal preparation."
