「The view was amazing at Belmont it was absolutely breath taking and the rooms and washrooms were very clean. The breakfast was good as well. The only caution to look out for it there’s bugs that come in the room at night through the door to the balcony if there’s so hidden spaces, but if u stuff a bag or something in those spaces it should be okay. 」
「It's fascinating to wake up in a room with the great mountains view and tasty Sri Lank breakfast. The owner also offers tuk-tuk ride in Ella. They have one-day package and one ride. The location is a bit far fr city center, it’s better because of quiet. Each tuk-tuk ride between hotel to city center is LRK 500.」

The hotel itself is more of a guest house. Rooms are very basic - but very large. Can easily accommodate 4 people.
Breakfast is either sri-lanken or western, they are very generous with the quantities.
If you are looking for a 4/5 star hotel - it’s not the place for you.
It is a low budget option for families who prefer that kind of experience.

「One of our favourite stays in Sri Lanka! The host was very welcoming and it was a pleasure getting to know him and talk about his country. We were greeted with tea and biscuits on their balcony which has jaw dropping views! You are right in the middle of nature with the mountains surrounding you get easy to get into the centre of town. 「Wij hebben enorm genoten van ons verblijf! De accommodatie was netjes, schoon en groot genoeg voor een gezin. Ook de locatie was ideaal – rustig gelegen, maar toch dicht bij bezienswaardigheden en restaurants.
Het personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam, en stond altijd klaar voor vragen of tips. Ontbijt was goed verzorgd.

Die Unterkunft ist nicht direkt in Ella. Wir sind mit unseren TukTuks ca 40 Minuten nach Ella gefahren. Sofern man keine eigenes Fahrzeug hat, sollte man beachten, dass PickMe frühzeitig zu bestellen. 」
