「Arrived on Sunday evening. Had been held up at an engagement but had a table booked during my journey for 20.45. Arrived at the pub/reception at 20.53 (booking line stated I had a 15 minute grace period). Told rather rudely that the kitchen had closed ages ago. I pointed out that I'd booked a table for 20.45 to which the reply was 'well it's now 20.53'. I stated that the booking said there was a 15 minute grace period and I had been stuck in traffic during my 2 hours drive, so couldn't help...

「Our room was spacious, and being on the top floor, it had a great view. We ordered room service, and it was delivered promptly, making our stay very comfortable. We also appreciated having slippers in the room, which made it even more relaxing. The only minor downside was that the shower pressure was a bit weak. Otherwise, we had an excellent stay.」

「Check in was smooth and efficient but not very welcoming considering I’d travelled along way and 2nd visit no personal interaction . Check out very different asked if I’d had a nice stay and had everything been good with the room . Makes such a difference . Hotel room very nice with great touches of bath robe and toiletries . Tea and coffee supplied with water also appreciated . We noticed this year In the corridor it had the aroma of smoke I’m sure it wasn’t as rooms non smoking but every...

「It was fine throughout」
