We had a decent stay overall, but a couple of things could be improved. The rooms aren't soundproof, so I was often woken up in the middle of the night by the sound of doors banging from outside. Also, the AC in our original room wasn't working well, and we had to request a room change. That said, the rest of our experience was great. The staff were very helpful and accommodating, which we really appreciated.

The hotel was very old and I requested a non-smoking room however my room smelled like a smoking room. My windows were street view and I could hear the cars all night long. Also there was karaoke till 3:00 a.m. in the morning at the hotel. I wasn't able to get a good night's sleep.

Good transit hotel

I used this hotel as a transit hotel and stayed for 10 hours. It was about 30mins away from the airport. The room was clean and comfortable and great value for money.

Overnight stopover in Almaty

This was an overnight stopover between flights. Location of the hotel was in reasonable distance away from Almaty airport and was very reasonable for the cost of a 1 nights stay. I agree with previous comments regarding this hotel where I would not book this hotel if you were planning to use this hotel as a base exploring Almaty and surrounding areas, however would recommend for an overnight stopover between flights.
