Find Allendale Bed And Breakfast

"This was a lovely stay in clean and well maintained hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel was beautifully situated with food options and the view from the bridge right outside is lovely too."

"We had a lovely stay at the Old Schoolhouse. Our room and bathroom were spacious. Our hosts had homemade treats for us each day (an oatmeal raisin cookie our first day and a piece of spice cake the next). Our breakfast was at a large table with the other guests. We loved talking to them, several of whom were walking the length of Hadrian's wall. The breakfast itself was delicious and generous. We would absolutely stay here again."

"A very warm and genuine welcome on arrival. The room was perfectly adequate for my needs, nice double bed with views over the rooftops of the historic town centre and over to the moors. Delicious cooked-to-order breakfast."

"Super comfortable bed, gorgeous character property, amazing host and wonderful breakfast. "

"Great stay excellent host very helpful. Lovely breakfast and great location right on the Hadrian’s wall trail 5 minutes walk away. Peaceful quiet location on a working farm."

"Quirky place to stay! Lovely big room for our family of four, in peaceful surroundings next to a ruined castle and 10 minutes from Hadrians Wall! Friendly staff and nice home cooked food for dinner and breakfast!"
