「We stayed 4 nights in August at the Lagos Atlantic. This boutique hotel of 40 rooms was just what we were looking for in an Algarve beach hotel; excellent breakfast, great pool bar with expert cocktails and a short drive to Porto Mos beach and into Lagos old town. The service was excellent and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. They even let us into breakfast early for an early departure to make some take out boxes for the drive to Lisbon. 」

「We had an amazing stay. Our Junior Suite (301) was huge, clean, and really comfortable, with a big bathroom and balcony. Breakfast had so much choice. the bread rolls were delicious and fresh, though most of the fruit didn’t look fresh or was in syrup. That was the only downside. Portimão itself isn’t very lively (except for the touristy strip), but it’s easy to get to other coastal towns like Ferragudo, Vilamoura, or Lagos. The staff were super friendly. 「Very close to the train station and the bus terminal. About 2-3 minutes walk I n the same street, you will find many bars and cafes. Also walking distant to the old part of the town. The hotel is clean, the service is basic but was a good stay. Only the shower booth was super tiny (even for an Asian woman...) that you hardly can move, and the shower temperature and the pressure is not stable at all, it becomes very hot to a very cold water all the time. That was not pleasant at all.」

「We stayed at Iberostar Lagos in late July with our extended family — 8 of us, including grandparents, kids (ages 7 and 9), and adults with different dietary needs — and it exceeded expectations. The location is unbeatable: right above Meia Praia, with stunning ocean views and easy beach access. You’re close enough to enjoy the energy of Lagos town (just a 5–10 minute drive) but far enough to feel relaxed and quiet. Rooms were modern, clean, and spacious.
