「When planning our walk on the Rota Vicentina, we weren't sure the extra distance to reach Quinta Chocalhino (Cowbell Farm!) from Odemira would be worth it but it was and Teresa made sure we didn't have to walk any farther than Odemira. 「景色を楽しもうとテラス付きの山側の部屋を予約しましたが、殆ど駐車場で顔を出せば山側といえる程度でした。 一番眺めのよいところはサロンになっていて出入り自由でよい景色ですが、部屋から景色を楽しむという感じではありません。 朝食は宿泊客全員でひとつの丸テーブルを囲みます。客同士会話を楽しむことができれば（少し語学ができれば）よい感じで楽しめるでしょう。 夕暮れの景色を期待していたのですが、雨が降ってしまい天気には勝てないというもののちょっとガッカリでした。 着いた日がかなりの強風で要塞の城壁に登るのはかなり怖くスマホを持って行かれそうな気がしました。充分気をつけて下さい。街を囲む城壁の上を歩いて廻ることができます。」

「The house has a heated pool, which allowed us to swim and sunbathe! Although the house also has air conditioning, nothing beats lighting the fireplace and spending some time chatting! Excellent architecture and decoration. Perfect location, in the countryside near the wonderful beaches. The hosts were very friendly and dedicated. We will return again and I recommend it to everyone looking for an ideal place to relax!」

「The people were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent! The grounds and view excellent! There was not much staff on the premises and we had just arrived from a Relais & Chateau which was pretty much the same price so in comparison this destination was lacking BUT if you are going to Monsaraz and want to relax after your day of visiting I would still highly recommend since nothing in the area is comparable and the place is very beautiful and enjoyable!」
