"The only thing good about this hotel is the proximity to be airport and the very friendly shuttle driver. Our room is very small, dated, terrible bathroom and horrible noise from the train and the road. Paper thin walls and uncomfortable bed. "

"Unfortunately we did not have a great experience here. Although the front desk people were very friendly, neither Expedia or the hotel itself warned us there would be road construction right outside our room until 1 am. All the other guests had already asked to change rooms so we were simply offered earplugs which don’t help much when there is jackhammering going on. The hotel was aware of this and should have contacted us since they were putting us on that side of the hotel. Coffee and tea selections were very minimal in the morning in the lobby as well. Usually Expedia includes all fees in their final price. After we checked out the hotel also included another $60 in city taxes. Thankfully Expedia set it right and gave us a refund for the taxes. "

"Loved staying at this tiny house! The house was super clean, along with being comfy and cozy! I had everything I needed including a washer and dryer. Communication with Miles was excellent. The neighborhood was very nice as well. Highly recommend! "

"Roy has the heart of a host.My friend's car was broken into on the way to the house. When she arrived, he helped her tape up the window and vacuumed out the broken glass. It was exactly what one might expect if visiting family, but he's just a great host who treated us like family.The property was well-appointed, comfortable, and in a great location--about a five minute walk from the cool stores (Frock! Citizen Ruth!), bars, and restaurants of the Alberta Arts District. It's also close to Irvington, a historic neighborhood that's super fun for running.My friends and I are so grateful to Roy for a wonderful weekend!"

"The heater was not working when we arrived, after I was asked to perform numerous task to “trouble shoot” the problem, to no avail, a repair person finally fixed the heater after 24 hrs. I will say that the communication was good the entire process. Although the house was on a standard (i.e narrow) residential street we were always able to park directly in front of the house.The house needs a refresh, the furniture is dated and not comfortable (I understand this is subjective) The kitchen was woefully understocked as compared to virtually every other house we’ve stayed at in Portland…which is many. The neighborhood is quiet and close to many good restaurants. The house had a couple of areas that were not clean. The rug in front of the kitchen sink had numerous stains and was very dirty, to the point that we rolled it up. While sweeping the floor we found old popcorn and a sock under the couch. Another interesting thing…there were no mirrors above the sink in either bathroom, made it difficult to shave, just an interesting choice. (Each bathroom had a window directly above the sink) There are a number of homes available in Portland that far exceed this in terms of condition, comfort, provisions and cleanliness, so with these issues we will not be returning. I am a very easy going person and try not to comment on issues that are subjective….”I may like a soft bed and others may like it firm”…not an issue and while it didn’t meet our needs, i never felt unsafe at any point. "I had an amazing experience at Cascada Spa and absolutely loved it. It was exactly what I was looking for, a place to truly get away and relax. We stayed here for our anniversary, and it was such a nice surprise to find a small gift waiting for us in the room. Everything is designed beautifully and feels very luxurious. The spa itself is incredible, and I especially loved that it wasn't crowded. The quiet policy in the sauna and jacuzzi area on the lower level makes it so peaceful and really allows you to fully unwind. It's such a pleasant place that I would come back anytime. I also loved that the room had a washer and dryer, and even a dishwasher, such a nice touch. The only downside is that there is no parking, so you have to find street parking in the neighborhood, which can be quite busy (I feel a little bad for the residents!). Definitely recommend this place!"
