A little bit hard on the back if you're not used to sleeping on a Japanese style futon(i didn't personally mind it, just a warning) Lots of nice restaurants in the area and aharen beach is just a short walk away, and it's gorgeous! One downside of Aharen is there's only one small convenience store, and it closes quite early, so make sure to bring snacks and amenities"

"I was immediately impressed with the image of the exterior, but was truly amazed when I saw how flasslessly maintained, up-to-date and clean the interior was. This is a remote island, so I was expecting something rustic, instead I got 5-star cleanliness and amenities. The staff were nice and one gentleman, Yuusuke always particularly awesome. In a major North American city this hotel would be 5x the price if not more. Also I got the Sashimi platter in the hotel restaurant at a reasonable price. Thanks Hotel Kanaloa!"
