「This Lake house was recently renovated and is sitting on the banks of Picton bay. Cool breezes and lots of shade. Our Host was there to greet us. Then cottage was air conditioned and the beds were comfortable. The four of us had a very enjoyable week at this cottage/home. Lots of chairs were available as well as many outdoor games to entertain children. A+++」

「We had such a wonderful time at Milford House. Everything was perfect from start to finish. This is a stunning century+ home with the charm of the past and every modern convenience. The kitchen was a dream to cook in and even had sharp knives!! A first for me in short term rentals. Didnt have to pull out my own knives!! Monica was so helpful, and had really thought of everything. Gorgeous fluffy towels, comfy beds... The garden area is much larger that it looks in the pictures, and it unfolded...

「This house was clean and filled with any utility you could need! there was an abundance of towels and linens and the kitchen was fully stocked with any equipment you could need. The house owner left a pass for provincial parks which allowed us free access to Sandbanks for the weekend. The host was kind and considerate and checked in with us appropriately. The house was wonderfully located. Would definitely stay here again.」

「Host could not have been more responsive and we found the location excellent. However the place was not cleaned very well, with garbage still under the sink and floors unswept. We were four older fisherman who were happy enough but our wives would not have been. We tried to clean on our departure but woke to a power failure in the area. All in all , as advertised. The host was responsive, but he should get a new cleaning team.」
