「This house was everything we were hoping for and more. It was exceptionally clean, cared for, and had everything we needed for our family’s home away from home. The location was perfect, as well—secluded but near enough things to keep the entire family content with options for activities and relaxation.We had an amazing week!」

「Very pretty house with a perfect mix of open living space and well designed sleeping area. The rooms had nice beds and pillows. Living area had pretty open space incorporating the living room and dining room. It also had a view from kitchen. Overall a great place to stay!」

「Cute little house away from the Bar Harbor mess. Host clearly loves the area and provides a wealth of useful information. House is immaculate and in like new condition. Very nicely decorated and well equipped. Only negative is the the two stair cases are steep and would not be a good choice for someone with limited mobility.」

「Very rustic with a HUGE emphasis on hunting. There were bear, turkey and antlers mounted on the wall. The place was a nice size. It was nice to have the bathroom down the hall from the bedroom. The living room couches and bed were comfy. Some of the fixtures weren't quite right. The antler chandeliers had cob webs, the sink had a hole where the sprayer was supposed to go, and the outlets weren't all secure in the wall. There was a lot of junk outside the cabin and we had to use our own towels...

「Really lovely space. The main room is really gorgeous, huge, well decorated, wonderful for cooking and big comfy dining table. Bathroom is a little small, bed was comfortable although we could hear street noise so if a light sleeper, consider that as it might bother. (I was fine, husband kept waking up.) Really wonderful overall. Wish it was possible to have family come--would have been fun to have everyone together but only one bedroom. 」

「We enjoyed our stay. The view is great and so is the location. Milbridge is a great little town, and makes for a great base for short day trips to surrounding communities, including MDI. The cabin itself is fairly rustic, but has most of the necessary creature comforts one expects. Water pressure was a bit low and the bed was not very comfortable, but that is partly a matter of preference. 」

It’s in a quiet, peaceful location that made it easy to relax and take in the natural beauty of the area.One of the best parts was how close it was to Bunker’s Wharf Restaurant — we could walk right over for a great meal with a waterfront view. 「Spent a couple days during Lobstah festival. Took advantage of the kitchen and BBQ. Master shower not very user-friendly with current knob setup spent more time drying the floor than showering. 」
