「The property was oversold online to make it look like it had a view of the nearby canal, but it didn't. While I understand the house was 170 years old, it felt like it could fall apart with a false move. The main floor had several chairs, but no couch. The stairs to the top floor were very narrow and you had to be careful going up and down. 「We very much enjoyed our stay. The location can't be beat, right in the middle of everything, and yet with dedicated parking and a nice private outdoor area. We love quirky old townhouses like this, and it was in excellent condition with all the modern amenities, plus the hosts have a very nice sense of style that we appreciated. We wouln't hesitate to stay here again, or recommend it to family and friends.」

「This cottage is in the perfect location! The cottage was clean, well stocked and wonderfully old and quirky. It is an easy walk into the historic town of Harper’s Ferry, but a bit steep going back, so manage your expectations and know your limitations. 「Very nice bungalow. We had plenty of room and the home was pristine and well appointed. We were evn able to have our granddaughters spend the night. Our 84lb Bernedoodle service dog felt right at home and enjoyed the fenced yard and walks on the quiet street. This property was in the perfect location to visit our son. We will definitely be back.」
