「What a blessing to find this beautiful historic place in northern Lancaster County. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the care in restorations was evident. Breakfasts were filling and delicious. The thing we enjoyed most was the wonderful conversations around the table with the hosts and other guests. 」

「Although it is a century-plus in age, the inn looked great. The innkeeper (Dennis) was friendly, knowledgeable of the area, and attentive during check-in, breakfast, and check-out. Just ten minutes from hiking, shopping, and eating/drinking...will return again!」

「We really enjoyed our stay here! The owner was so thoughtful about providing everything one could need. The 2 beds were comfortable and there were plenty of pillows. She left us food for a quick breakfast (cereal, muffins, etc). It was all really good. We also enjoyed visiting the little goat to feed him crackers! The location was rural, but close to everything. Would definitely stay there again! Thank you!」

「My wife and I were so happy with our hostess that we decided to stay another night. Every morning, we had a three-course meal, and it was delicious. After telling Kimberly that we were leaving early one morning she made sure we had it early enough so we could make our appointment. The rooms were always comfortable, and the bed was nice as well. Kimberly made sure we had everything we needed including extra towels and anything else that we asked for. 」

「We loved staying at the Amethyst Inn. Kimberly has wonderful culinary skills, and our breakfasts were delicious and the detailed considerations for guests were deliberate and appreciated. We loved the antiqueing and nostalgia options in Adamstown, whether it was a family ice cream visit to Boehringer's or a meal at Dave's Diner, a gem in the American diner tradition.We also had meals at locations in nearby Reading that were exceptional and delicious. Adamstown was a wonderful experience for us....
